About

About iGamingPayScope

iGamingPayScope is an independent research publication about how money moves in regulated online gambling. We track the payment rules regulators set, such as credit card bans, rules on which payment providers an operator may use, withdrawal and customer-funds requirements, and we explain the payment operations behind them in plain language.

What we cover

Our rules pages cover Great Britain, Canada, the United States and a group of European markets. Each rule is linked to the regulator, statute or licence condition it comes from, with the date we checked it. Our operations guides explain processes that operators, payment teams, compliance staff and researchers need to understand: authorisation and settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, payment provider due diligence and withdrawals.

We do not cover markets where online gambling is prohibited, and we do not write for players looking for ways to pay around a block or a ban.

Independence

iGamingPayScope is not a gambling operator, a payment provider or a law firm. We do not take payment for coverage, rank payment providers, publish affiliate links to operators or accept sponsored articles. Where a page mentions a company, it is because a regulator, court or scheme document names it.

Who writes it

Pages are researched and written by Clera Dukuk. Research is assisted by AI tools for finding and organising sources; every rule, figure and date is checked against the official document before publication, and pages that rely on a secondary source say so. Our process is on the methodology page.
